This extension allows you to convert an IFC file into a Revit project file (RVT).
IFC File Path: Browse and select the IFC file you want to import. The file should have an .ifc extension.
RVT Save Path: Specify the location where you want to save the generated Revit project file. The file will have an .rvt extension.
Force Import: If this option is enabled (default), the import will be performed even if the existing corresponding Revit file is up-to-date. If this option is disabled, an existing RVT file will be re-used if it is up-to-date.
Autocorrect Off Axis Lines: Enabling this option will snap lines that are close to axes to the nearest axis. This reduces warnings in Revit but may cause elements that are created from sketches to slightly change shape, and extrusions to slightly change directions. Disabling this option will leave the original geometry intact but may cause warnings in Revit.
Auto Join: Enabling this option will join appropriate elements (e.g., walls, columns), but will take extra time and may fail. Disabling this option will allow some imports that otherwise fail.
Make Editable: Enable this option if you want an editable Revit file. If the file is only used as a link, do not check this option.
After defining the inputs, click on the "Run" button to execute the task. The extension will import the IFC file into a Revit project file and save it at the specified location. If the task is successful, you will see a message indicating the successful import and the path to the newly created Revit file.
