In this release we have focused on imropving user experience and fixing bugs, but we also managed to add a few new features.
- Login to: Assistant Cloud, ITBase and Forge.
- Ability to set a login to "required" for an action file.
- Home button for easy navigation to run actions view.
- Search for actions in the open actions file.
- An action run history can be saved to disk in two different locations. One of them specified on the action file and the other one specified in the user setting. These can be loaded back into Assistant in the "Home view" by clicking the load from file button, or by dragging and dropping the file.
- When writing a macro, you can now use a FilteredElemetCollector in your Args class to create a user-friendly way to set up a filter.
- New task: ITBase. Download files from ITBase.
- The Select by filter task has a new option, "Apply to current view".
- The task list now supports multiselect.
- Is now on top of all other applications.
- External Command task is renamed to Revit Macro. Searching for External Command in the tasks list still works as expected.
- Send mail task now requires login to Assistant Cloud.
- Changed "Infinity" option to "Base level" and added option to set which height to use as "Top offset".
- Improved tooltip visibility in Revit Macro.
- Loading time improved on Revit Macro.
- Close model now closes the model and opens a new empty model, due to technical reasons.
- Better support for tasks with long names.
- Rotated models will now have the correct geometry when running an element relation check.
- Corrected an error in the routine that calculates "Offset level".
The new version will automatically be installed to all users next time you start Revit.
Users that are running Beta or Continuous are recommended to return to Latest Stable, this can be configured in Revit Options -> Tools Launcher.
