The Tools 5.8.3 release includes bug fixes. In this update, we have focused on improving the performance of Coordination Tool by adressing bugs reported by users.
- Fixed an issue with Coordination Tool where it failed to refresh elements with inconsistent geometry. It now skips the inconsistencies and utilises the usable part of the geometry. Previously, there was a bug that if an IFC model element containing inconsistent geometry was refreshed, it halted the operation at that element. This incident prohibited users from working in the model.
- Resolved a bug where the Coordination Tool did not collect metadata for elements that were not of the type FamilyInstance. Now, it works efficiently for all element types. Before the fix, no metadata was collected if the reference element was not a family instance.
- Addressed the bug that prevented changes to metadata from being saved when removing parameters. Now, any changes made will enable the save button. Earlier, when users opened metadata in a tag in the Coordination Tool and deleted a row, "OK" option were unavailable.
